MY PROFESSIONAL STORY
Instructional Designer & eLearning Developer
9+ years experience in the learning and development industry. After a brief stint is catering and event design, I accepted a job as Logistics Coordinator for new hire orientation at Booz Allen Hamilton. From there I fell in love with the learning & development world.

As online learning becomes more important in today’s environment, a well-crafted instructional design program will focus on the learners’ experience. Whether developing an instructor-led course or an eLearning course, my approach prioritizes the learners’ experience.
I have over five years of instructional design experience. During this time, I’ve completed user analyses, partnered with subject matter experts to curate content, developed materials, and evaluated learning outcomes. Some of my recent projects include:
Creating a variety of self-paced modules for online orientation
Filming and editing micro-videos for a new system and process
Creating and facilitating a series of virtual instructor-led training for product releases
Developing various how-to job aids for just-in-time learning
In addition to instructional design work, I have strong project management skills and have overseen a variety of large-scale projects. I have also led change management efforts to introduce new systems and products.
Detailed. Quick. Creative. I am an organized partner who enjoys getting the details of a design just right. I am both a quick learner and a reliant worker who thrives in a fast-past environment. My learning solutions are creative and support the individual learners’ needs.
MY PERSONAL STORY
Wife, Mother, Dreamer
I was born in Southern California and raised in Virginia. I attended James Madison University for my bachelor's degree and will forever bleed purple & gold -- go Dukes!

I met my husband while we were playing in an adult kickball league. It was love at first sight - for him :) A few years later, we married on the beach in Cancun, adopted two spoiled and impossibly snuggly beagles, and recently welcomed into the world our adorable and adventurous baby girl.

We love to attend as many Nationals baseball games as we can and were even lucky enough to cheer on our boys at a World Series game in person. We love travel when we can and have explored so many wonderful cities in Europe. When we can't get overseas we love to escape to Disney World, which we frequently refer to as our second home.
